Into the Deep
The debut album from Californian transplant Kathleen Haskard was the kind of thought provoking stuff that the world of pop is rarely treated to. This collection of lyric-worthy songs and hypnotic melodies are just what the doctor prescribes for chill zone listening. Bluesy vocals, beefy ballads and confrontational, thought provoking lyrics make sure that this album will be taped for the car, nicked by the kids, worn out ,and generally well used.

Into The Deep the title track communicates the stark similarities between love and addiction and that sense of being swallowed whole by your demons.

Cheap Perfume is a feel-good, escapist, blues rock song that bristles with Lowell George influenced slide guitar.

Kathleen's Into The Deep is a grown up album that defies the usual commercial formulas and reaches for pop/rocks high ground.

Independent label Howlin' Hound was set up by a collective of musicians and songwriters. More and more artists are entering the market at a grassroots level and 'takin' to the streets' and selling their albums and merchandise primarily at gigs and on the internet.
